אנו, קבוצת "בני אברהם", פעילים בחברון מזה כשלש שנים בשיתוף עם הקהילה הפלסטינית במטרה להביא לסיום הכיבוש בעיר. במסגרת פעילותינו אנו מקיימים סיורים להכרות מצב הכיבוש והאפרטהייד בחברון. אנו מזמינים אתכם להצטרף אלינו לאחד הסיורים הבאים.

מסלול הסיור: קבר ברוך גולדשטיין בקרית ארבע, בית המתנחלים החדש על "ציר המתפללים", מערת המכפילה, רח' השוהדא, השוק הסיטונאי, ההתנחלות היהודית בחברון, שכונת תל רומידה.

Tour to Hebron, Friday May 11

Bnei Avraham is an activity based group born out of the desperate situation in the city of Hebron. The group has been active for more then a year now and is composed of Israeli activists from various backgrounds. Our main focus is on-the-ground joint Palestinian- Israeli activity in the city of Hebron, Targeted to disturbing the occupation, disrupting the segregation and apartheid regime, creating a basis for understanding and cooperation among all the members.

We invite the public to a tour in Hebron to see the affect of the apartheid that the occupation and the settlers inflicted in the area.

The Tour will include:

Goldstein's grave, the new settlement on the prayer path, The Holy Cave, The Shuhada St. The market, The Jewish settlement n the old city and Tel-Rumeida.

The tours will take place on September 9th and 28th

Cost of tour is 40 NIS.

מזמין אותך למכירת עבודות יד של נשים מדרום הר חברון.

בדרום הר חברון חיה קבוצה קטנה של רועים וחקלאים, במערות באהלים ובכפרים. קבוצה זו נרדפת ע"י הרשויות, הצבא והמתנחלים בכוונה לגרש אותם ממקום מושבם. רדיפות אלו פוגעות קשה בפרנסתם. מתוך רצון לתרום לפרנסת משפחותיהן, התארגנו 25 נשים והקימו קואופרטיב והן מקיימות ברחבי הארץ מכירות של רקמות, שטיחים, סלים וכדומה.

לכל כפר טביעת האצבע היחודית שלו בעבודות

ושזורות בהן היסטוריה, פולקלור ומורשת.

تعيش مجموعة صغيرة من الرعاة والمزارعين في كهوف وخيام وفي قرى في جنوب جبل الخليل، تطارد السلطات، الجيش والمستوطنون هذه المجموعة لإخراجها من مكان سكناها. هذه الملاحقة تؤثر سلبا على مصدر رزق هؤلاء الناس. بهدف مساعدتهم، تنظمت 25 إمرأة وأقمن تعاونية، تبيع منسوجات، سجادا وسلالا في كافة أنحاء البلاد.

كل قرية لها سماتها المميزة التي تظهر على الأعمال اليدوية، والتي ترتبط بالتاريخ، الفلكلور والتراث.

Cordially invites you to selling handcrafts made by women from the southern Mount Hebron



A small community of shepherds and farmers live in tents, caves and villages in the southern Mount Hebron area. The authorities, the army and the settlers have been persecuting them to force them out of their land. To help them, 25 women organized and established a cooperative which sells embroidery, carpets and baskets throughout the country.



Each village has its own characteristics that appear on the handicrafts and which are related to history, folklore and heritage.



Selling handicrafts will be on

*ניצחון בבית המשפט - המאבק נמשך בהפגנה גדולה ביום שישי הקרוב*

אתמול (4.9.07) פרסם בית המשפט העליון את פסק הדין בעתירה שהגיש הכפר בלעין נגד
תוואי הגדר הבנויה על אדמותיו. לאחר למעלה משנתיים וחצי של מאבק משותף לעצירת
הגזל, קובע בג"צ שתוואי הגדר הנוכחי לא מידתי ושעל המדינה להכין הצעה לתוואי
חלופי, שישאיר את האדמות החקלאיות של בלעין בצד ה"פלסטיני" של הגדר. בנוסף הורה
בג"ץ למדינה לשקול שלא להכניס את ההרחבה הלא בנויה והלא מאושרת של מודיעין
עילית לצד ה"ישראלי" של הגדר. בהחלטה נכתב כי "התוואי הקיים מעורר תהיות גם
מבחינת היתרון הביטחוני שהוא מעניק...אין להסביר תוואי זה אלא ברצון לכלול את
החלק המזרחי של מתיתיהו מזרח ממערב לגדר", כלומר אין להסביר את התוואי אלא
ברצון לגזול ולספח אדמות.

הדרך עוד ארוכה. בית המשפט העליון אמנם המליץ כי על הגדר לזוז לגבול הקיים של
ההתנחלות, אך לא קבע שהגדר תועבר לקו הירוק וכמובן לא ערער על עצם קיום הגדר
ועל ההפרדה שהיא מייצרת.* ועדיין, החלטת בית המשפט העליון מהווה הישג גדול,
והיא לא * *היתה מתקבלת ללא המאבק המשפטי המסור ובעיקר ללא המאבק העממי העיקש
שניהל הכפר בלעין נגד בניית הגדר. תושבי הכפר בלעין הניפו את דגל המאבק המשותף
הלא-אלים מתחילת בניית הגדר ולא זנחו אותו לרגע. כולנו, שהיינו שותפים למאבק,
זכינו לקחת חלק בהתרחשות חשובה מאין כמוה, זכינו למפגשים מרגשים כמו גם להעצמה
שהיא מנת חלקו של מי שעומד אל מול דיכוי אלים ויכול לו. *

Yesterday (4/9/07) the High Court released its verdict in the petition of
the village of Bil'in against the separation barrier constructed on its
land. More than two and a half years of joint struggle finally prevailed on
the High-Court to deviate from its normal pattern of facilitating every move
to dispossess Palestinians. The court decided that the present route of the
fence is illegal and that the State must propose and alternative route
within a reasonable period. According to the decision, the alternative route
must retain Bil'in agricultural land on the Palestinian side of the barrier.
Moreover, the court has decided that the benefits of the present route is
disproportional to the benefit it provide, and ordered the state to consider
refraining from including the planned eastern section of the
"Matitiahu-Mizrah" neighborhood on the "Israeli" side of the fence.

In the words of the judges "The present route raises grave questions also in
regards to the security advantages it was said to provide…and the selected
route cannot be explained other then by the intention to include the eastern
section of "Matitiahu-Mizrah" on the west side of the separation barrier".
This means that the route cannot be rationalized except by the efforts to
steal and confiscate the land, consideration forbidden even by the
criterions endorsed by the court.

*Even with the best legal representation the ruling could not have arrived
at without the unrelenting struggle mounted by the village of Bil'in against
the construction of the barrier. The residents of Bil'in had raised the flag
of the joint non-violent struggle from the very beginning of construction on
the barrier and did not forsake it for a moment. All of us, who shared the
struggle, are fortunate to have participated in an event unprecedented in
its importance. We were privileged to have formed very meaningful bonds as
well a sense of empowerment that is the prize of those who persists in
confronting violent oppression and overcome it. *

The journey is still long. The High-Court, failed to rule that the wall
should be moved to the Green-Line, and of course did not abolish the
separation it produces. The present ruling is indeed an achievement and
reinforces the popular struggle against the wall. The common struggle
against the occupation shall go on! Palestinians and Israelis shall join
hands and shall behold, through their deeds, that the apartheid shall fail
and the robbery shall not pass!**

Bike Fed meeting @ William Kerr Foundation
