Have an

7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Is anyone in Baltimore City having friends over on (S)Election Night? Looking to have the coolest election party ever?

Then interrupt the election coverage that you're showing. Turn on Baltimore Public Access (CH 5) at 7:00 p.m. Watch David vonKleist's sensational "911: In Plane Site". This video is THE BOMB.

'In Plane Site' is #1 on the list of documentaries the White House DOES NOT want people to see. David vonKleist offers a devastating critique of the official story of 911 that is much more interesting than the election night TV where people talk only about Blue and Red states.

Cost: free

BAAM! Meeting

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

BAAM! is a general anarchist organization in the
Boston area. Our structure reflects our belief
that anarchist organizations should not be
configured in a way that conflicts with the
ultimate goal of a classless, stateless society.
We feel that being class conscious is not an
enough; we oppose authoritarianism in all its
forms, including capitalism, the State, and all
forms of oppression such as racism, sexism,
nationalism, xenophobia, homophobia, and
environmental devastation.

We hold skill share workshops and participate in
direct action while supporting local manifestations
of the global struggle. We've been involved in
actions including picket lines, anti-war protests,
anti-capitalist street theater, and agitating the
bosses and those who support their oppression. Our
past workshops have covered wheat pasting, self-
defense, silk screening, folk science, and
information sharing. All activities are run in an
openly anarchist fashion.

We have monthly meeting to schedule our events and
skill shares at the LPC on the first Tuesday of
every month at 7pm. All anti-authoritarians are
welcome to attend.

Lucy Parsons Center, 549 Columbus Avenue, Boston's South End

STUART CHRISTIE -Edinburgh Launch of 'Granny Made Me an Anarchist'

7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

STUART CHRISTIE talk and reading

- Edinburgh Launch of 'Granny Made Me an Anarchist'
- Stuartspeaks about his life, politics and his attempt to assasinate Franco.

STUART CHRISTIE launches his new book 'Granny Made Me an Anarchist: General Franco, the Angry Brigade and Me', in Edinburgh, Scotland.

In 1964, Christie was arrested in Spain and charged with attempting to assassinate General Franco. He was 19, far from his home in Glasgow, and could speak no Spanish. The worst part was that the charge was true. Christie was convicted, and became Britain's most famous anarchist.

In 1972 he was arrested again, this time in Britain, suspected of being a member of the Angry Brigade. The Angry Brigade was an anarchist group that had - intending that no-one should be injured - blown up several London embassies and the houses of prominent British officials. Their trial became a sensational confrontation between the state and those who tried to overthrow it. Christie was not a member, although he knew those who were and stood trial along side them. He was acquitted; all the others were sent to gaol.

These events bookend an era when a sizeable proportion of the British population thought that the government might be overthrown by the will of the people, in favour of a better society, if only the right spark could be lit. It wasn't. People have never thought that way again.

Election Day

All day

Opportunity to perform civic duty at the ballot box. The choices might suck, but if we don't choose the really bad candidate, then someone else will choose the even worse candidate for us. Change is incremental - exercise your option to increment that change in a positive direction before they take away even this tattered remaining option to practice democracy.
