Bolivarianisches Fest & Vorstellung der Gemeinde Guasdualito und der Ziele der Europareise von José Alvarado

7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sander Hicks:"The Big Wedding - 9/11, The Whistleblowers, and the Cover-Up" w/ folk singer Holley Anderson

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

As publisher of the critical Bush biography Fortunate Son in 2001, Sander Hicks had a unique position from which to cast a hard look at the official story around the 9/11 attacks. The Big Wedding examines the CIA’s controlling, client relationship with Pakistani intelligence, which had close, documented, under-reported links to the 9/11 terrorists. Hicks acquired startling revelations from government whistleblowers, including lauded FBI Whistleblower Coleen Rowley, ATF Agent Steve Barborini, CIA asset Brad Ayers, and US Navy veteran/con-man Delmart Vreeland.

In addition to Hicks' presentation of his new book, we're also pleased to welcome radical folk-singer Holley Anderson,
Hicks' wife and partner in Vox Pop, Brooklyn's new radical bookstore/coffeehouse.

Recruiting leafleting

6:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Veterans for Peace, Tampa Bay and other community groups will be leafleting at Dunedin High School from 6:15 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. to provide information to students and their parents about their right to opt out of being contacted by military recruiters and to give them educational information that will aid them in their enlistment decision.

The Pinellas and Hillsborough County school administrations have denied veterans and other community groups the opportunity to speak to students about military service. We and the students have been denied rights guaranteed by the First and Fourteenth Amendment. This denial runs counter to the primary goal of education to provide needed information.

Please call or e-mail Pinellas School Superintendent, Dr. Clayton Wilcox (727-588-6011); wilcoxc-AT-pcsb.org or Hillsborough Superintendent, Mary Ellen Elia (813 -272-4000); Maryellen.elia-AT-sdhc.K12.fl.us and ask them to instruct the schools to give us the same access that is afforded military recruiters.

You do not have to be a veteran to participate but you must be committed to non-violence.
