"Occupying the Past: Archaeology and Repression in Palestine"

Prof. Susan Pollock (Dept. of Anthropology, SUNY Binghamton, and Dept. of Middle Eastern Archaeology, Free University Berlin) will give a public talk, followed by a discussion, on the topic of "Occupying the Past: Archaeology and Repression in Palestine." The talk will, amongst other things, focus on the presenter's experiences at the World Archaeological Congress (WAC) in Ramallah, Palestine in August 2009.
