One Night in Uganda (www.cegun.org)

We like to invite you, your family, and your friends to come and enjoy a benefit dinner event for Uganda on July 28th at 6:00 pm. We're hosting this event mainly to raise greatly needed funds to support a couple of projects in Northern Uganda along with upcoming local events and activities. First project is to renovate the Olya Primary School in Northern Uganda, where the walls are collapsing and rooms are caving in from over 20 years of war and fighting. Second project is to pay for the shipping cost for the already donated books (~ 3,000 books) to IDP camps in Uganda. According to UNICEF, over 80% of children from 7 to 18 years of age in Northern Uganda have never been to school and a majority of them are girls. Schools become a safe space that can provide not only the education but also psychological support, stability and a sense of normalcy to children affected by the conflict. For that reason, we truly need your kind support and wholehearted presence at this July 28th event...:-)

We're not only going to serve Authentic Ugandan Food at this event but also to provide you with Live Entertainment, Silent Auction, Inspirational Testimonies, African Photo Exhibition, Raffle Drawing and much much more...Dinner menu includes Ugandan traditional dishes such as Boo, Chukumawi, Cassava and etc. Also, majority of the items that will be put out for Silent Auction and Raffle Drawing are directly imported from Uganda and Kenya by recent visitors. Please RSVP and reserve your tickets as soon as you can since the seating is limited...

Costs: $25.00 for a regular ticket ($20.00 for student & educator)
