Broome County Young Democrats general meeting

A general meeting for the Broome County Young Democrats, a group of young people who want to get involved in the political process through active participation in the Democratic Party. Please come and join us at this meeting! It is free and open to the public.

The Broome County Young Democrats (BC Young Dems) began assembling under the guidance of long-time Democrat and activist, Fred Brooks, in late 2005. We worked tirelessly to establish a membership base, constitution and recognition by the New York State Young Democrats.



Through the support and dedication of our members and the Broome County Democratic Committee, we adopted a constitution and elected officers in 2006. Our leadership includes: Megan Benjamin, President; Victoria Reynolds, Vice President; Andrea Russo, Secretary; and Michael Kennerknecht, Treasurer.



Now finally, our charter application has been submitted to the New York State Young Democrats. Once accepted, we will be affiliated with both the New York Young Democrats and the Young Democrats of America.
