Boston, Massachusetts. United South End Settlements, Friends Forever and Planet Aid present the return of Breathing Stones at the United South End Settlements’ Harriet Tubman House located at 566 Columbus Avenue in Boston, MA.

Escape the mundane and help us welcome in the passion, power, and warmth of Zimbabwean Master Sculptors! United South End Settlements, Friends Forever, and Planet Aid have joined again to bring “Breathing Stones: Master Sculptors of Zimbabwe” back to the South End! To open the exhibit, on May 2nd, 2007 from 6:30pm- 8:00pm, there will be an opening reception and a chance for you to be the first to view these masterpieces.

The Breathing Stones exhibition and sale will run from May 2nd, 2007 through June 13th, 2007 and will feature the artwork of several different Zimbabwean sculptors. The exhibit is free to the public and will be on display at the Harriet Tubman House located at 566 Columbus Avenue.

USES acts as a catalyst, assisting individuals and families throughout the lifecycle by providing a wide range of intricately linked programs. In addition to providing services and programs in USES’ four facilities – Harriet Tubman House, South End House, The Children’s Art Centre, and Camp Hale – USES seeks to build community by providing opportunities for individuals and groups to engage across class, race, ethnicity, age, and disability through educational classes and cultural events.
