XXXmass Capitalism in SC!: Polar Opposite Pole Dancing with Bush! (cheny too!) Fri 12-17 6-8pm (Culminating with the best in Anti-Sexist & Anti-Corporate Xmass Caroling at approx. 8pm, song-books provided). What would Xmass be in Santa Cruz without street demonstrations? Friday December 17, 6 to 9 pm our local "Camouflage" store(making war sexy) is planning to have all-female pole dancers performing in their front window! (for all those lovely Harley Guys and lonely hearts on the street in front, I suppose) enticing them to come in and... spend, spend! SPEND!!! And if that's not enough- they're having a "lap dance lotto" for all those appreciative guys (who spend $100 in the store). Wow! Capitalism sucks in more ways than one! According to the owner of Camouflage in Wednesday's Senile (page A-3)* 12/15, it is. I guess local businesses will really stop at nothing to drum up business. Who needs ethics, or standards, or common sense? Well, we at Art&Rev and Media Watch figure what's good for no holds bare-ed bu$ine$$ must also be good for the WAR economy. So we're organizing a "polar opposite" performance on the street in front of the Camo. store. Who says women should have a monopoly on pole dancing? We're taking their idea and we're running with it! We're breaking down the barriers and taking it too the streets! Yep! Men's liberation at it's lowest! Like flies to the ointment. Join Us Friday at 6pm and see our military/industrial leaders get off on their big-weapons pole-dancing!!!, wrapping themselves in a frenzy around their BIG military weapons. The Big Bush is coming to the SC Pacific Ave MALL, guarded by his military-secrets service wearing?.... CAMOUFLAGE!!! to show us what really turns this country ON!
BIG WEAPONS!!!!! Camouflage has now decided to partly cover their sex show (due to public and city pressure) while women on strip poles dance and give lap dances. Obviously it's all part of the smokescreen and diversionary tactics of Business promotion--as usual.... Bush couldn't miss the fun. If you have some CAMO gear-- wear it--and join us for some real rod-humping of WMD's. Bush and the Camo Store wants to--remind women what they are really good for.
