Saturday, December 18th, the Nashville Homeless Power Project (homeless & formerly homeless) calls on you to join the Nashville Community to mourn the senseless loss of over 50 of our brothers and sisters who died in Nashville this year due to extreme-poverty-related circumstances. At 8AM, Food Not Bombs will host all those who are hungry with a gourmet breakfast (pancakes, egg muffins, hhmms, etc) with Coffee provided by the Salvation Army. At 9AM, Vice Mayor Howard Gentry, Councilmembers, social service agencies, the Nashville Coalition for the Homeless and others will join the homeless community in a memorial service. Please join us. Blankets, jackets, sleeping bags, etc will also be collected.
