Feminists like to talk�and there is so much to talk about! From reality t.v. to the criminal justice system, there are so many issues affecting women, and sometimes it just feels good to get your opinion in a forum where it is taken seriously and debated with other smart, funny, creative and innovative minds. Such possible discussion questions are: are women more constrained today than they were in the 50s?, how does the news media portray women�s issues?, why have women�s issues been relatively non-existent in the Presidential race? If you are interested in swapping ideas or learning more about feminism, come to the WeMoon Center every 2nd and 4th Tuesday night at 8pm. Everyone is welcome to join, so feel free to invite your brother, your partner and a friend!

Schedule of Topics:
11/23: Reality Television (with an emphasis on shows such as Wife Swap, Trading Spouses and the Swan)
12/14: Consumerism and the role of women
12/28: Feminism in 2005: what are the issues of today and how have they changed (if at all)
1/11: Smart women in television dramas
1/25: Children�s movies and their portrayal of gender

WeMoon Center 1816 Mahan Dr. (next to Mahan Preschool)

Cost: Free

Directions: Head East on Tennessee St. Cross over Magnolia. You will see Mahan Preschool on your left. WeMoon Center is the driveway after the preschool and there is a yellow sign on the mailbox and a hanging sign that says Prada Yoga.
