The Cruzin’ Cuba Film Series presents Great Day in Havana - contemporary Cuban painters, sculptors, filmmakers, poets, dancers share their worlds in a film documentary that bares the artistic and spiritual soul of Havana. Hear music of folk-rock musician Carlos Varela, see the sculptures of "Pulido" Gonzalez, and hear the poetry of Eloy Machado. The film ends with Cuban movie idol Jorge Perugorria (Strawberry and Chocolate, Guantanamera) talking about his hopes and dreams for Cuba.
