A technical assistance workshop for grassroots groups!

Be the media! This workshop, hosted by the Independent Media Center and Alternate Focus, will guide participants through the production and editing process of public access television. Attendees will learn how to obtain a weekly half hour time slot on local public access television stations such as Cox, Time Warner and Adelphia. The workshop will include a hands-on introduction to video and interview techniques using cameras, microphones, and tripods. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about video editing and what it takes to acquire a workable editing system.
