Feminist Culture Club (FCC) Presents: That Takes Ovaries!
Tuesday, 26 October 2004
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Organizer: The Feminist Culture Club, a project of the Greater Boston chapt
Join the Feminist Culture Club (FCC) in listening to dramatic readings of material complied and published in Rivka Soloman's book THAT TAKES OVARIES: BOLD FEMALES AND THEIR BRAZEN ACTS. These real-life stories from women and girls are short, multicultural, playful, sassy, often touching, true tales of kickin' estrogen-powered deeds. Afterwards, you are welcome to tout your stuff at the open mike (3 min. max): Guys tell us about your bold mothers, sister, daughter and friends, Gals tell us about the times *you* were brazen !
October is also Love your Body month, so love your ovaries and get out here and join us!
