'Words of Choice' dynamic theater fundraiser for abortion fund

Words of Choice is a collection of powerful stories of women (and men) and the right to choose by Cindy Cooper, co-adapted and directed by Suzanne Bennett and peformed by a New York troupe on a "Go Vote" tour of Florida

Words of Choice is a fusion of journalism, poetry, oral history, comedy and spoken word from Angela Bonavoglia, Kathy Najimy, Alix Olson, Sherica White, Emilie Townes, The Onion, Justice Harry Blackmun, Judith Arcana, Gloria
Feldt, Michael David Quinn, Kathleen Tolan, Emily Lyons, and others.

The Tallahassee performance is produced by Tallahassee NOW and underwritten by Planned Parenthood Federation of Florida to benefit Tallahassee Funding Abortions Now (TANF), a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization that funds abortions for women and girls who couldn't otherwise afford them.

The Tallahassee performance in Thursday, October 21, 2004, at 8 pm. A discussion with the director follows. There is also a reception with the troupe after the show. Tickets are $10 for the show and discussion and $15 with the reception. Discount of $3 for students and seniors.
