Practical Activism Conference

Practical Activism Conference is a UCSC student run conference that focuses on issues both locally and globally. For the past two years we have had great success and notable speakers like Matthew Gonzalez and Jeremy Glick. We have covered issues like Same-Sex marriage, Prison-industrial complex, Sustainable living, and much more. This year we will have workshops on the Darfur Genocide, Voting Rights, Queer Allies, Military Recruitment, Student Movements, and more! Get to know the issues, create coalitions, and then mobilize for change. Come Saturday!
