			<description><![CDATA[Video of the testimonies presented at Winter Soldier: Iraq & Afghanistan will be shown each Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Church in Ithaca, corner of Buffalo & Aurora Streets, April 4 through June 20. The screenings will be followed by a weekly update on the activities of IVAW and Different Drummer Cafe in Watertown, and a discussion on issues facing soldiers and veterans and how we can lend support.<br />

Winter Soldier: Iraq and Afghanistan was held March 13-16 at the National Labor College in Silver Spring, Maryland. The four-day event brought together veterans from across the country to testify about their experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan —and present video and photographic evidence. In addition, there were panels of scholars, veterans, journalists, and other specialists to give context to the testimony. These panels covered everything from the history of the GI resistance movement to the fight for veterans’ health benefits and support.<br />
