Binghamton Political Initiative (BPI) is holding its weekly meetings on Tuesday at 5pm in the Geology Lounge (Science 1 building at SUNY Binghamton campus). This coming Tuesday is our first official meeting for the Winter/Spring 2008 semester.
We are running with a theme on Pirates, Piracy, Autonomy, and other related side tracks. For this coming week we are reading Chapters 1-3 of Under the Black Flag, by David Cordingly. We will be supplementing book readings with shorter accompaniments such as academic journal essays, zines, book reviews, etc.

February 19th is our next meeting and we will be reading Chapter 4 “Women Pirates and Pirates’ Women”. As well as some journal essays on Grace O’Malley and others. Stay tuned for more detailed information…
