חברון היא עיר פלסטינית שחלק מהשליטה בה נתון עדיין בידי ישראל, וקיימת בה התיישבות יהודית. כתוצאה מכך מתקיימת בעיר מציאות של אפרטהייד ומעין "טיהור אתני" שמעטים מאזרחי מדינת ישראל מודעים להם.

מסלול הסיור: קבר ברוך גולדשטיין בקרית ארבע, ההתנחלות החדשה ("בית המריבה"), מערת המכפלה, רח' השוהדא, השוק הסיטונאי, ההתנחלות היהודית בחברון, שכונת תל רומידה.

היציאה מבנייני האומה בירושלים ב-8:30 בבוקר ועלות הנסיעה כ 40 שקלים. חזרה משוערת: 16:00.

Tours of Hebron

Hebron is one of the most problematic places in the occupied territories. It is the only place where a settlement lies in the heart of a Palestinian city. A minority of 600 settlers living among 40,000 Palestinians in H2 (Israeli jurisdiction) area raises a very complex situation. Moving restrictions, closures of commercial activities, limited access and settler violence makes life for the Palestinians almost impossible.

"Breaking the Silence" have been conducting tours to Hebron for the last two years. The tour combines history, legal and actual aspects of the reality in Hebron. We will walk through the H2 area, starting from the Tomb of the Patriarchs, along the Shuhada street beside the Jewish neighbourhoods. In the Tel-Rumeida neighbourhood we will visit some Palestinian residents who tell us about their life.
