Realizing the Impossible: Art Against Authority
Monday, 04 June 2007
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Join editors Josh Macphee (author of Stencil Pirates and founder of Just Seeds) and Erik Reuland (aka Erik Ruin, street artist, pupeteer, and editor of the art/politics zine Trouble in Mind) for the Baltimore stop on the book launch tour for the new Realizing the Impossible :Art Against Authority. Besides a presentation of this fantastic new collection on the development and significance of anarchist art and artistic anarchism (including an article featuring Camp Baltimore's social justice traller project), there's a whole multimedia art+politics extravaganza accompanying the tour, with music by Dark Dark Dark (like a melancholic gypsy band that got lost in Appalachia) and short films by Dara Greenwald.
